It was you, the first motha, who gave birth to all the leaders
The fighters, the bleeders, the liars and the cheaters
The ones who wish to disgrace you and even exploit you
The ones jealous of your power, who wish to destroy you

And the kings of Ethiopia and Egypt, the original man, your brotha
See how they try to divide you, get inside you ?
Confuse the whole world, enslave you and hide you ?
They place your brothas in the jails and in the slums
Plus make into a wasteland the sacred place you came from

Watching your brothas, your motha and your fatha killed
Watching rape and miscegenation
Change the faces of our nation
Change the ideologies, create a bunch of fools
Deceived, dishonored, disgusted and taught to disrespect you

Raisin’ the nation’s strong and proud, with no fatha in the home
But don’t turn on your brotha now
For freedom or death is his vow
And the world has a different plan
A different agenda, when it comes to your man

I know with alot of brothas, you can’t communicate
But don’t give into you enemy, show love not self-hate
Be that queen you’ve always been, be that motha of the universe
Be that strong sistah, that lady of GOD
