about

This song is dedicated to all those WHO hustle, vend and sell on the street.

lyrics

ROLLIN’
If you wanna know who I be, I be the one with the product
Who be slanging and hanging them, just like narcotics
But I don’t hustle green, nor distribute the yay
No X, no pills for bills, no no way
I be slanging cotton tees and c.d’s
DVDs, fly art and hot beats like these
I be wrapping them up and folding them
I got stores barcoding them
Sometimes I be at shows and expos straight throwin them
People be knowing them, cause I be sewing them
And I’ve invested so much time & dough in them...

Rollin’ rollin, big money foldin
They don’t know how much loot we be foldin’
Rollin, rollin, festival patrollin
While I be living my life like it’s golden

I be wherever the livest events be at
Pulling up in my van with product stacked in the back
Damn, I be in states that some wouldn’t go
But if there’s a college, they’ve got knowledge and there’s dough
So, i’ve got to go get it, yea I must admit it
When it comes to this life, I’m pretty much committed
Wit it and gots to steady spit it
I’m making lotsa money and people don’t know how I did it
Me and my partners took on the OBAMA campaign
Man, what a game and I’ll never be the same
Buttons, t-shirts, hats and keychains
Flags and bags, man I hate to brag
But for two years straight, we was getting our loot
With Obama hoodies, beanies and sweatsuits
Me, I didn’t invest like I should’ve,
Like I would’ve, like i could’ve
Damn It was so good I
Should’ve put something away in the recession
It was a blessing, but I’ve done learned my lesson
I’ll never blow my money as fast as I get it
On hotels, rental cars, and airplane tickets
I’ll never not put away half up front
Or pay my bills, before the first month
Never a fool twice only foolish once
Not a dunce, not out to lunch, cause to be blunt

Rollin’ rollin, big money foldin
They don’t know how much loot we be foldin’
Rollin, rollin, festival patrollin
While I be living my life like it’s golden

So now I be up north, down south & in the middle
Where the festivals be hot and the attendance be like riddles
You never know what you’ll get, sometime you make it out
With a wad, or oh my god you might get chased out
Rollin to Toronto, pronto or to the ATL
Then back to D.C. with lotsa product to sell
Then to New Orleans, all the way back to Arizona
And the next week I’m headed to California
Up to Seattle, across to Denver
And out to Chicago by mid September
Then Back to Oakland come November
And down to San Diego right before December
Then I’ll take a rest and back to Ohio
To see my son, my number one and give him some dough
And all of this I must insist or I must confess
Is all done wit no auditing by the I.R.S (cause I’m)

Rollin’ rollin, big money foldin
They don’t know how much loot we be foldin’
Rollin, rollin, festival patrollin
While I be living my life like it’s golden
